New here -- female in twenties looking for friends/support

Hello

I've skulked around a lot of these sorts of forums, but wanted to give this one a proper go.

I won't go into too much detail about my health, as you're all probably very familiar with the typical series of events. I've been really unwell and dropped off the radar with the lovely panic disorder/agoraphobia/strong fear of communicating with people/severe depression combo. I'm desperately trying to get better now and have some kind of a life, with very little support and a lot going against me. I'm currently being advised to fight for Aspergers diagnosis as several people with the condition believe this is essentially the root of all my problems, but all this takes so much time & focus that I don't have so I'm currently concentrating on self-administered graduated exposure therapy. I'm currently studying a degree with the OU.
